 Abstract:  Collection contains the personal and professional papers of Edward P. Dozier. It is broken into four subgroups. The personal papers include school, financial and military records, diaries and correspondence. The professional papers include correspondence, manuscripts, research materials primarily related to his work with the Pueblo Indians and Kalinga, professional organization materials and teaching materials. Also included are the papers of Thomas Sublette Dozier, father of Edward P. Dozier, and Elizabeth Shepley Sergeant’s papers concerning her work, assisted by Dr. Dozier, in the Santa Clara Pueblo. Included in Sergeant’s papers are correspondence, reports, surveys and manuscripts for Deer Dance and the Pueblo wildflower book.

The University Archives classification number system was designed to reflect the organizational structure of Arizona State University, so that records of a particular originating office are maintained in close proximity.

 Abstract:  The Lauzon family collection consists of a variety of historic documents and photographs (see series 10 for a description of the photograph component) that describe and depict the family's early life in northern Arizona, primarily at the Grand Canyon, from the early 1900s into the 1980s. The papers were created primarily by Hubert "Bert" Lauzon. They describe his work as rancher, miner, tourist guide, caretaker for the Bright Angel Trail and Grand Canyon National Park Ranger. The collection includes material about the Lauzon Family and their continued interest in mining and ranching after Bert's death in 1951. This later material was created by Bert's son, Hubert F. Lauzon.

 Abstract:  Personal papers including a Citation Index, news clippings, articles, pamphlets, correspondence, mostly photo stats of materials pertaining to the Mexican Revolution, 1907-1920, during the years of Dr. Francisco Vazquez-Gomez’s political activity. Some original, handwritten materials and 35 millimeter films are included. The bulk of the material consists of copies of newspaper clippings about key figures of the Mexican Revolution, compiled by Dr. Vazquez-Gomez and used in the course of writing his book “Memorias Politicas, 1909-1913”. Biographical material and correspondence of Dr. Francisco Vazquez-Gomez, and his son, Ignacio Vazquez Gomez is included. His son, Dr. Ignacio Vazquez-Gomez continued to add to the research materials through the 1970s. Bulk of the material is in Spanish.
