Biographical Note
Juergen Tank (1944-2012) was an instructor pilot and Director of Flight Safety and Security at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott, Arizona, campus. He retired from the university in 2009.
Scope and Content
This collection contains course materials, training guides, and manuals collected by Juergen Tank. Pilot training materials include books on visualized flight maneuvers and helicopter aerodynamics, test preparation guides, as well as course guides and handouts on topics including TCAS, airborne weather radar, cockpit management, and international procedures. Training manuals, pilot operating handbooks (POH), and owner's manuals are included for aircraft manufactured by ATR, Bell Helicopter Textron, Boeing, Cessna, McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co., and SAAB.
