Biographical Note

Edward (Ed) Ford was born in 1903 and grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. Ford held various positions in the Four Corners area including ranch hand in Hillside, Arizona; clerk for Babbitt Brothers Trading Company, Flagstaff, Arizona; stock handler and trader for Hubert Richardson, Tonalea, Arizona; stockman; and later District Supervisor of Land Management for the Navajo Agency, Window Rock, Arizona and Crownpoint, New Mexico.
