Biographical NoteLibby Coyner (1980-) was raised in Princeton, Idaho. She lived in Portland, Oregon for several years, where she obtained a B.A. in History from Portland State University. She later earned a Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) and Master of Archival Studies (MAS) from the University of British Columbia. Following graduate school, she interned at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, worked as Archivist at the Sharlot Hall Museum in Prescott, and currently works as an Archivist at the State Archives in Phoenix. Since joining the archives community in Arizona, she has been involved in several collaborative initiatives. She serves on the board of the Arizona Archives Alliance, was on the working group for the Archives Matrix project, and has presented at conferences around the state. Her personal research interest is on “tattoos as personal archives,” which she presented on at the Society of American Archivists conference in 2012. The Route 66 images in this collection were taken during research trips for the National Park Service’s Route 66 Archives and Research Collaborative. She enjoys bicycles and cats. Scope and ContentImages were taken by Coyner while accompanying R. Sean Evans on a photo documentation assignment related to the National Park Service's Route 66 Archives and Research Collaborative. Images taken include the Two Guns site, the Jackrabbit Trading Post, La Posada Hotel (Winslow), and Ella's Frontier (near Joseph City). RestrictionsConditions Governing Access
