Biographical Note
Harry Vroman was a photographer that traveled throughout the Western United States.
He contributed to several magazines, including "Arizona Highways" and "Desert
Magazine". He photographed most of Arizona, with the exception of the Northeastern
corner, including Monument Valley and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. In addition
to his travels throughout Arizona, Vroman traveled through, and photographed,
Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks in California.
Scope and Content
The Harry Vroman Collection contains one box of photographs depicting various areas
in Arizona. These photos consist of landmarks, towns and memorials throughout the
state.
No restrictions on use, except: not available through interlibrary loan.

Acquisition Information
The photos that make up the Harry Vroman Collection was first donated to the Arizona
Historical Foundation by Harry Vroman. The materials were then gifted by the AHF to
Northern Arizona University.
