AbstractPapers from Lura Kinsey school days, both as a student and later as a teacher. Kinsey was born in Flagstaff in 1891. She attended Emerson High School and graduated from the Northern Arizona Normal School in 1912. She earned both a BA and an MA from the University of Arizona, Tucson next hit. Her teaching career spanned 47 years with the Flagstaff, Arizona school system. In 1932 she became principal of her high school alma mater, and in 1957 saw a local school named after her. Kinsey died in Flagstaff, 1965.

Lura Kinsey was born in Flagstaff in 1891. She attended Emerson High School and graduated from the Northern Arizona Normal School in 1912. She earned both a BA and an MA from the University of Arizona, previous hitTucson. Her teaching career spanned 47 years with the Flagstaff, Arizona school system. In 1932 she became principal of her high school alma mater, and in 1957 saw a local school named after her. Kinsey died in Flagstaff, 1965.

The Collection is (1) linear foot in volume. Consisting of papers from local Flagstaff, Arizona School teacher, Lura Kinsey school days, both as a student and later as a teacher. Also included are photographs of the Northern Arizona region collected by Kinsey.
