From its founding in 1998 until it closed in 2004, the Skyrage Foundation brought attention to the issue of in-flight disruption and violence. These records document the Foundation's efforts to disseminate information about the issue and to encourage positive action for the reduction of incidents of violence in the air. Included are organizational papers, correspondence, news articles about the problem of air rage and about the Foundation's work, videos of presentations and training material used by the Foundation, and copies (electronic and paper) of the Foundation's website. The Skyrage Foundation website contains information about the organization itself, as well as information on the issue of in-flight violence. The website includes founder Michael Sheffer's monthly editorials, guest commentaries by other individuals, FAA incident reports, and news accounts about incidents of in-flight violence.
