Images documenting the company's business activities and corporate promotion. Many associated with the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway, including rail passenger facilities on trains and at depots.
Many photographs promoting tourism in the Southwest: romantic images of Native Americans, including Apache, Havasupai, Hopi, Isleta, Laguna, Mojave, Navajo, Santo Domingo, Taos, Tesuque, Zuni, and other peoples. Includes portraits and people in traditional activities of handicrafts and agriculture.
Primarily commercial photographs, including work by Karl Moon and others.
Copyright to the works of art is held by the artist, their heirs, assignees, or legates. Copyright to the copy photography and records created by Heard Museum
staff is held by the Heard Museum. Requests to reproduce, publish, or exhibit a photograph of an art works requires permissions of the artist and the museum.
In all cases, the patron agrees to hold the Heard Museum harmless and indemnify the museum for any and all claims arising from use of the reproductions.
Patrons must obtain written permission to reproduce or publish photographs of the Heard Museum’s holdings.

These materials were received from the Fred Harvey Fine Arts Foundation. Over the years, a number of items from other collections had been interfiled as a subject collection. In 1992 all materials not bearing the Fred Harvey Company stamp were pulled from the collection to form an associated collection (RC 2).
