Biographical Note

Dorothea Thomas was born in England, March 23, 1890. She was a sheep rancher and 40 year resident of the Garland Prairie, Arizona area. She also lived in Williams, Flagstaff, Parks, and Prescott, Arizona. She died in Prescott, Arizona in July 1983 at the age of ninety-three.


Scope and Content Note

Correspondence between Dorothea Thomas and her family in England. Also included are magazines, road maps, school bulletins from England, pow-wow programs, and a travelog of Coss-Sorrel cross country tour of the United States. There are 41 photographs associated with the collection.
