Frank Reid came to Flagstaff in the 1890s as a stenographer for the lumber mill (AL&T). He studied law and became a lawyer. He later became a presbyterian minister and successor to Rev. George Logie.
George Logie and his wife, Mary Ellen Logie, had two children: Edith and Stewart Logie. Stewart died at the age of 6. George's sister, Mary Logie, came to mary Frank Reid.
