Biographical Note
Finley was a U.S. Army officer, Lieutenant, 10th cavalry, in Texas,
1880-1881, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 1881-1884, and Arizona, 1885-1892.
Scope and Content Note
Diary, notebooks, biographical material, and photographs relating to
Finley's Army service. Includes studio photographs of Apache Indians, military
personnel and living quarters at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Fort Grant, Arizona;
and Fort Apache, Arizona.
