Biographical Note

American scout and showman. William Frederick Cody, known as Buffalo Bill, operated Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show and other business enterprises from 1883 on.


Scope and Content Note

Three letters to Merrill P. Freeman, dated March 6, 1912, March 12, 1914, and July 10, 1914. Cody (Buffalo Bill) is responding to items Freeman has written and sent to him.
