Prospector; discovered the silver mines of the San Pedro Valley, which led to the establishment of Tombstone, Ariz.
Typescript, accompanied by an autobiographical sketch, and letter of transmittal from Mrs. Josephine F. Garrick. Also included are three photographs of Schieffelin: two studio portraits and in Alaska with a dog sled team.
