Biographical NoteCopper company, Jerome Mining District, Yavapai County, Ariz.; organized in 1882 by Fred Thomas, George Treadwell, and Eugene Jerome. The company was sold to W.A. Clark in 1889. Scope and Content NoteCorrespondence and other papers relating to the operation and financing of the mine at Jerome, Ariz. Letters are chiefly from Eugene Jerome, secretary-treasurer of the company, and Frederick Murray, agent and mine superintendent, many concern the actions of Frederick Tritle, ex- Governor of Arizona, in regard to the mine.
