Biographical NoteEnglish art critic, social reformer, and author. Scope and Content NotePortfolio contains 12 signed holograph letters sent by Ruskin to William Roscoe Osler and his father, T. Smith Osler, 1873 to 1879; 12 others are to his friend Charles H. Woodd, circa 1850 to 1879. Several of the letters are undated. Also included are typewritten transcripts of the letters to the Oslers, which concern William's career in art.
