Biographical NoteThe document was signed and stamped with the official seal by the Yolo County Recorder, J. D. Lawson, on September 30, 1874. At the request of Wells, Fargo & Company, the document was also signed and recorded by the Sacramento County Recorder, Matt Clarken, on November 4, 1874.
