Scope and Content Note

Single manuscript that contains instructions to the priests and curates of the diocese, explaining in detail the faculties newly conferred on them by their bishop or archbishop. Four faculties relating to the Sacrament of Penance are defined, in catachism question-and-answer form. They relate mostly to reinstating conjugal rights. The divisions are 15 small chapters of addresses or lectures, called Conferencias. It ends with a Jesuit motto, "Ad majorem Dei gloriam."
