Many of the illustrations were later published in volumes 2 and 3 of Mollusca, 1914 and 1921, by G.K. Gude. Volume 2 covers Trochomorphidae- janellidae; volume 3 is Land operculates. Mollusca is part of a larger monographic series titled The Fauna of British India, including Ceylon and Burma; A.E. Shipley is the editor. The series was published under the authority of the Secretary of State for India in Council, by Taylor & Francis, London, from 1908.
