Scope and Content Note

Collection of newspapers and magazines related to the United States in World War I, World War II and other military related topics. Popular culture materials include clippings from media of pictorial images and printed matter. The magazines include Look and Life, and the newspapers include the New York Times Book Review and New York Times Magazine from the 1940s. Large collection of front page war stories from 1945 and remembrances of D-Day from the 1990s. Artificial collection with donations from Gary Opper [bulk] and unknown, donated circa 2005 and 2015
