	Abstract:	The Sanctuary Movement was a religious and political campaign that began in the early 1980s to provide safety for Central American refugees fleeing civil conflicts within their home countries. This collection contains materials related to the Sanctuary Movement and, more specifically, the highly publicized Sanctuary Trial that took place in Arizona. Within the collection are attorney files, certified trial transcripts, publicity materials, and trial notebooks. Also represented in the collection are donated materials from the American Friends Service Committee and the Southside Presbyterian Church, who were important players in the Sanctuary Movement. Materials from these organizations include correspondence, newspaper clippings, publications and trial materials.

The wedding book titled, Married Life, is 57 pages and includes a page with the couple's signed marriage certificate, names of wedding guests, Bible verses, poems, prayers, and two loose newspaper clippings. Item 2, 1910-1911: Contains one small baby book of Alfred Oliver Hazeltine titled The Book of Our Baby, includes birth information, three 1.5 x 2 inch photographs of the child and family members, gift list and names of givers, first year events, and a lock of Alfred's hair at one year old.

	Abstract:	This collection documents Tucsonans thoughts and reflections following the attacks of September 11, 2001. As an introduction, KOLD interviewed Dr. Paul Beezley of the University of Arizona History Department. He compared the events to the Civil War and the Battle of Antietam, the bloodiest day in U.S. history. The difference that was drawn between the two events is that the social history of the Civil War is preserved in correspondence from that period. Following the events of September 11, however, correspondence was via email and therefore not preserved. Recognizing this, KOLD sent out a request to viewers asking them to submit their thoughts to KOLD for historical preservation at the University of Arizona Special Collections. Four submissions were selected and read on the air by the authors during subsequent news broadcasts. All submissions are included in this collection.
