Items includes correspondence, published and unpublished writings, research material and manuscripts related to the Gila River Indian Community water rights cases, the Cornell Peru Project and the Hualapai Tribal Nation, academic and professional material as well as photographic and audio visual material.

Predominately field recordings from southern Arizona, they include cowboy songs and music, oral history interviews and corridos. The collection also includes 12 studio master tape reels recorded by Mexican American singer Lydia Mendoza. This collection was previously titled SWF 011.
