Walkup also mentions the specialization in education at Northern Arizona University, undergraduate assistance, interrelationships of human needs, liberal studies, teacher education, and important questions that arose from achievement of university status. Manuscript materials consist of subject files; index to news articles related to NAU events, faculty, and students; and a rough draft of Hutchinson's book, "The Making of Northern Arizona University: a chronicle."
