This collection houses transcripts of oral histories conducted with 29 Arizona women. Among the subjects covered are migration to Arizona, childhood recollections, family life, employment outside the home, religion, military service, marriage, childrearing, and politics. Also included is supplemental biographical information provided by interviewees.

The Arizona Architectural Archives records contains
organizational and collection records documenting the administration and maintenance of
archives created by the College of Architecture Library at the University of Arizona in
1976. The collection is divided into three series, two of which are further arranged in
subseries. This collection is part of the Arizona Architectural Archives collection
transferred to Special Collections in 2011. The Arizona Architectural Archives
collection contains professional papers, project, and office records related to
significant architects, architectural practices, and builders active in Arizona in the
20th century.
