 Abstract:  The Plez Talmadge Reilly Collection consists of personal papers and research notes relating to the history of Grand Canyon, the Colorado Plateau, and Lees Ferry. The collection is extensive and represents a significant contribution to the study of human exploration and settlement of the southern Utah and northern Arizona region. The majority of the collection dates from the late 1930s - 1990s. Items prior to 1930 tend to be copies or transcriptions of diaries and documents. Copies of Mormon diaries and reminiscences, oral interviews, river logs, correspondence with other researchers and friends, and photographs constitute the bulk of this collection.

 Abstract:  This material consists of the personal files and the photographs of Jeanne Ethel Hyde Brent Allen, sister of Glen Hyde, who disappeared in the Grand Canyon along with his wife Bessie.  Abstract:  The Lauzon family collection consists of a variety of historic documents and photographs (see series 10 for a description of the photograph component) that describe and depict the family's early life in northern Arizona, primarily at the Grand Canyon, from the early 1900s into the 1980s. The papers were created primarily by Hubert "Bert" Lauzon. They describe his work as rancher, miner, tourist guide, caretaker for the Bright Angel Trail and Grand Canyon National Park Ranger. The collection includes material about the Lauzon Family and their continued interest in mining and ranching after Bert's death in 1951. This later material was created by Bert's son, Hubert F. Lauzon.
