 Abstract:  The Fire on the Plateau collection includes newspaper and internet articles, documents, and working files pertaining to fires and fire prevention on the Colorado Plateau and to the Fire on the Plateau Project initiated by Northern Arizona University's Cline Library in 2001. The collection also includes oral history interviews and in the field video recordings by SCA staff, as well as photographs of the 2001 Leroux Fire outside Flagstaff, Arizona and other wildfire scars or sites near Flagstaff.

All of these descriptions were originally entered into ASC's Special Materials Index between 1996 and 2014.

A majority of the collection consists of research correspondence, photographs, negatives, transparency slides, research files, field notes, and publications by both Barrett and other agronomists and agriculturalists.
