Abstract: | The Yavapai Heritage Foundation and the City of Prescott Historic Preservation Office conducted surveys of more than 1,200 territorial buildings in and around the original Prescott town site. Some of these were investigated even further and many were determined for inclusion in the National Register. The surveys and research done on properties provides valuable history about the properties and community and are a significant resource to the public. The Yavapai Heritage Foundation's efforts have helped Prescott be recognized for its historic value nationally and has given the town an economical boost in the process. | ||
