 Abstract:  The Whiting Collection consists of over 55,000 pages of field notes and papers, preserved in 217 binders, along with some recordings. These binders are organized into the following categories: Anthropology, Botany, Santa Cruz, Dartmouth, Hopi, Navajo and Apache, Southwest, Taos and New Mexico, Havasupai, and Whiting-Personal. The bulk of the collection was amassed by the late A.F. Whiting over his forty-five year career in anthropology, ethnobiology, and linguistics.

 Abstract:  Portfolio contains a signed holographic manuscript of Blunden's poem, "The nun at court." This romantic narrative of courtly love and tragedy consists of six leaves. It is written in ink, with Blunden's edits, signature, and notation that it is for Harold Kamp. Also included are two signed letters to Kamp, from Blunden, dated 1930.

 Abstract:  One of three extant copies of a seven-page typescript report. It describes the covered bridge at French's Mill, N.Y., which was built in 1866. Contains eight mounted and labeled photographs; they depict different views and construction aspects of the bridge, both before and after the roof and side covering was removed. Blueprints drawn by Paulsen, letters, and a newspaper clipping are located in a back pocket.
