This guide describes all of the small manuscript collections held in ASC's ArizonaCollection. These collections generally consist of 1-2 folders and document Arizona as a territory and state. Manuscripts, personal papers, and professional papers are included.

The Fire on the Plateau collection includes newspaper and
internet articles, documents, and working files pertaining to fires and fire prevention
on the Colorado Plateau and to the Fire on the Plateau Project initiated by Northern
ArizonaUniversity's Cline Library in 2001. The collection also includes oral history
interviews and in the field video recordings by SCA staff, as well as photographs of the
2001 Leroux Fire outside Flagstaff, Arizona and other wildfire scars or sites near
Flagstaff.
The Vertical File index of the Arizona Historical Society. The Vertical Files are documents, images, and ephemera which have been determined to have research value but are not associated with a broader set materials (collection). (Note: Subject groupings are defined by semi-colons. Archives staff may wish to use separate AHS Vertical File index to locate materials.)
