	Abstract:	Dr. Gerd T. Schloss was a microbiology professor at the University of Arizona whose research revolved around microbiology, pathology, and cancer research. Schloss fled his German homeland during World War II, was a refugee in Switzerland, and then emigrated to the United States with his wife, where he would settle in Tucson as a working doctor. The collection contains Schloss' personal and professional correspondence, diaries, personal papers and family history research, professional papers on research, subject files on areas on interest to Gerd in his personal life, as well as many of Schloss' publication.

The collection features insurance documents that serve as legal evidence of financial transactions among members and within lodges. The materials include membership files containing legal and insurance records, lodge correspondence, administrative files like meeting minutes and financial papers, and printed materials. The materials are mostly written in Spanish. The Alianza was known to advocate for Mexican-American education and civil rights. 	Abstract:	The Ohnick Family Papers house correspondence, images, clippings, performance programs, contracts, real estate records, and other materials documenting Hachiro and Katherine Ohnick and their children, Ben, Tom, Marion, and Helen. The majority of these materials record the family's life in Seattle, Ben Ohnick's career in the Philippines, Ben and Tom Ohnick's military service during World War I, and Marion Ohnick's operatic career under the stage name Haru Onuki. Other records show Helen Ohnick's work as a real estate broker, Tom Ohnick's high school football teams, and Hachiro Ohnick's emigration to the United States and work in early Phoenix.
