	Abstract:	The Kuhne–Looney Family collection contains photos, negatives, historic documents, books, correspondence, scrap books, and albums for many Prescott area families. Frank Adolph Kuhne originally came to Prescott from Germany. They lived in Navajo and Howells, Arizona. He and his wife Marie had five children; Marie, Moritz “Moe”, Frank, Helen, and Robert. This collection also has information on the John Wilson Simmons family, the Alexander Brown family, the Henry Colquette family, the Giuseppe Enrico Gardarino family and the Looney family. It also includes photos of family friends, train wrecks in Skull Valley, and documents on Territorial Arizona. Documents describing the Yavapai County Youth Center (YCYC) are included. Havasupai documents from land acquisition and Kuhne’s work in the village are also included.

	Abstract:	Samuel Clark, born in 1871, was the founder of Clarkston, Ariz. Operated mining properties in Ajo and Clarkston (later called Rowood) beginning in 1907. Laid out townsite of Clarkston in 1916. Includes blueprints of maps, time books and expense accounts, and photographs of Clarkston and the Ajo Mining District. Also present are family photographs, subscription lists of Clarkston inhabitants, and account books for rental properties.

This collection includes materials which document the travels and surveys of Richmond Jones (1833-1861) while working for the Sopori Land and Mining Company in the Santa Cruz Valley of Arizona. The diary describes his journey from Rhode Island to Tucson, Arizona and offer insights on individuals and mining activities in southern Arizona until his sudden death at the hands of Apaches, in the field, in 1861. Includes account books, letters, survey books and documents, as well as a report on the Sopori and San Xavier mines by mining engineer Raphael Pumpelly (1837-1923) who was in charge of the Santa Rita Mine from 1860-1861.
