Materials include 71 numbered plates covering stone objects, shell artifacts, ceramics (including Snaketown, Canada del Oro, Rillito, Rincon, and Tanque Verde Red-on-Brown types), figurines, worked sherds, original drawings of shell and stone objects, and architectural plans for 23 houses. Three unnumbered photographs of three-quarter grooved axes and mauls are also present. Plate numbers were assigned in accordance with I. Kelly's report and J. Officer's revised summary. Assignment of plate numbers and table of contents were added by J. Materials include correspondence, reports, statements, typescripts, transcriptions, illustrations, maps, assay certificates, newspaper clippings, publications, and miscellaneous notes drawn from the files of the Arizona State Museum and other sources. Principal figures represented include Byron Cummings, Emil W. Haury, Raymond H. Thompson, A. E. Douglass, Thomas W. Bent, Charles E. Manier, Neil M. Judd, and numerous other scholars and correspondents.
