Farmer in the Old Navaho (Navajo) country during the summer of 1938. The report is organized in five sections covering a preliminary field report, ethnographic notes, a catalogue of sites surveyed, excavation notes with site catalogues and tree-ring data for three excavated sites (Largo #1, Upper Blanco #1, and Upper Largo #1), and a pottery analysis covering plain, decorated, and intrusive wares. The catalogue of sites (Section III) was completed in May 1939.
