 Abstract:  The Tormey papers represent a small, but rich collection of material that documents the years from 1934 - 1944. The most important records consist of the files relating to the construction and remodeling of a sizable part of the Arizona State Teachers College's Flagstaff campus. The papers also contain information about Tormey's work on the advisory board of the WPA Federal Writer's state guide project.
