 Abstract:  This collection consists primarily of studio portraits and snapshots of the families of Felix Castro and his wife, Ethel (Marsters) Castro. Other photographs depict Felix Castro's service in World War I as a medic, likely taken while he was in training at the Provisional Field Hospital at Camp Fremont and Camp Lee, Virginia; hotels, including the Hogan Hotel in Delores, Colorado (owned by Felix Castro) and the Pavilion Hotel in Taylor, Nebraska (owned by Saul Marsters); a theatre production; and vacation snapshots made in the Southwest, including views of cliff dwellings and landscapes.
