The collection also contains some reproduction photographs from “Views of the Monuments and Characteristic Scenes along the Boundary between the United States and Mexico. West of the Rio Grande. 1892-95”, published by the International Boundary Commission, United States and Mexico.

 Abstract:  John Raymond Reeder and Charlotte Goodding Reeder were American agrostologists known for their expertise regarding grasses found in the western and southwestern United States and northern and central Mexico. They discovered and named several new species of grasses and concluded their research work at the University of Arizona Herbarium. This collection consists of biographical materials, professional and personal correspondence, and research files related to their work on grasses. Also included are publications, photographic materials, and scrapbooks focused on botanical subject matters.
