 Abstract:  Collection consists of biographical information; professional and personal correspondence; lecture tour notes and correspondence; personal journals; book project notes, correspondence and manuscripts; published and unpublished articles; newspaper clippings, art gallery programs, exhibition booklets, historical city guides and maps and other items related to Latin American artwork, as well as, Medieval Spanish Colonial artwork. Kelemen was fluent in many languages and some of the correspondence is written in Hungarian, Spanish, German, French and Italian.

 Abstract:  The Movimiento Artístico del Río Salado (MARS) Records consist of administrative files containing grant files, financial files, and general administrative files, exhibit and program files, printed materials, subject files, and correspondence documenting MARS and its' work in Arizona and the United States during the late 1970s to early 1990s. The MARS Records contain under administrative files series: five boxes of grant files, roughly one and a half boxes of financial files, one and a half boxes of general administrative files, roughly four boxes in the exhibit and program files series, three boxes in the printed materials series, half a box in the subject files series and half a box in the correspondence series.

 Abstract:  Channing Smith (1906-1984) was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He studied art at the Corcoran School in Washington, D.C. and the St. Louis School of Fine Arts. He traveled to Paris to undertake private study and earned a degree in drama from the University of Arizona in 1954. He designed stage sets for theater productions, painted local landscapes, and became known for creating woodblock prints. The collection consists of 11 signed and/or numbered linocut prints by Channing Smith, the King's Grant graphic novel, 50 loose linocut prints, 23 pencil studies on paper, and 9 blank but titled pages. It also consists of 6 Arizona scene linoleum blocks, 6 Boy and Girl graphic novel linoleum blocks, 7 Russian Book linoleum blocks, and 22 King's Grant graphic novel linoleum blocks.

 Abstract:  The collection consists of examples of reverse painting on glass objects, usually with tin borders, decorative trim or frames. The painted glass collection includes crosses; pieces intended for wall hanging; boxes and examples of unfinished pieces; and pieces from cultural traditions outside the Magdalena de Kino, Mexico, area. The pieces in this collection represent the work of itinerant artisans known as pajareros, or "birdcatchers," from Magdalena de Kino, Mexico. This collection was previously titled SWF 003.

 Abstract:  This collection consists of Ralph Johnson Colwell's papers, a majority of which pertain to his work with Up with People in the years he was employed as Director of Show Productions and later as Director of TV and Video productions. In 1965 Colwell, with his brother Paul, wrote the song "Up with People". They, with a third brother Steve, performed with the first Up with People cast, continued to write songs, and are among the musical founders of the program. The collection includes administrative files, show creation and production records, performance materials, event and performance scripts, photographic materials, audiovisual materials and event recordings, oversize awards, and some post-Up with People materials. Items are arranged into series and then arranged alphabetically.
